Default 2013 GS350 check the parking assist sensor message

Good afternoon on my 2013 GS350 F Sport my check the parking assistance sensor light came on and I noticed my front sensor middle it's not doing its job, is that one that I can do myself

If there is nothing obstructing the sensor and it's still not working, you can take off the front bumper and replace it. the sonar sensors are just clipped in. Did you hit anything? It's kind of odd that the sensor stopped working randomly.

First check to see if anything may be obstructing the sensor and check if it has any dirt/debris that you can clean. You can definitely replace the sensor yourself however it will require you to remove the front bumper.

You need to remove the bumper. It's not hard, I did it 6 months ago.

I think the crash bar is in the way so you still have to remove the bumper, can't get to it from behind the grill(removing the top panels to get behind the grill).

Default Sensor

Hey Marine, had that same problem years ago with my parking sensor. was caused by freezing slush/rain on bumper. probably since you guys had ice storms???? used heat gun to warm/dry up . rest code with reader .. good luck
