Since the pads are exactly the same, the contact patch to the rotor is the same, I suspect the only difference is the diameter of the center part of the rotor the pads don't come in contact with.
Maybe the idea is the larger rotor dissipates heat better, and that may be the only advantage the f-sport front brakes has over the non-fsport, but I doubt that makes a difference for steet use, only on a track. Also larger and two piece rotors look more sporty.

Hey man, no one wants hot rotors when they stop for groceries.

Honestly idk, they look the same to me, maybe just the mounting points are different since the f-sport has a larger rotor.

I've never looked into the difference in brakes for the GS 350 models...only that the RWD F-Sport uses a larger rotor. The more I look into the brakes for the GS 350 the more I'm convinced that all models use front calipers that take the same brake pads with no difference in the quantity of pistons (four) or in the piston diameter. Maybe the caliper itself is different due to mounting orientation for the RWD F-Sport due to the larger rotor. ![Dunno](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/13879dunno.gif)
The only difference I can discern is in the larger front rotor size of the RWD F-Sport. Does anyone have information that is different?

As much as I love my 2015 F Sport, I can not get over the fact that the seats are hard and just not comfortable for long-distance driving. If I had to do it again, I would go with the softer and better leather of the luxury model. I honestly do not even think these cars have the best quality leather if this is even eather at all. I do love the look of the F Sport much much better than the Lux model. However, the more aggressive look of the 16+ models might be the neutralizer since these models look much sportier than the 13-15 models. The 20 to 30-minute test drive was not enough the reveal the obvious. But once you own it, you will be able to tell. Granted, all our bodies are different and perhaps very few even think about it. But once you notice, you will never forget. Once I get past a 45 minute drive, I feel it.

I have first hand experience with the standard 10 way adjustable base seats and the 18 way semi-aniline lux seats.
I swapped the base seats for the lux last year:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...uxury-mod.html
The difference for me was night and day. The leather on the base 10 way adjustable seats was harder and I found them uncomfortable after 2+ hours driving, yes my butt would hurt from the seats sometimes.
The adjustments on the lux seats allow me to get the perfect fit, I didn't know I needed those adjustments until I had them.
On top of that the semi-aneline leather is noticeably softer. Now I can do long drives and my butt doesn't hurt.
Any future Lexus I ever own I will settle for nothing less than semi-aniline lux seats.
Of course there are many reason to buy one car over another and not just the seats.
I also have the f-sport front bumper, GS F tail lights, other nice exterior upgrades, and AVS. So I get the best of both the lux seats and the f-sport/sportier exterior styling.
