You control the steering wheel and the brakes, car just maintains the speed you set for optimal gas mileage. I wish I had dynamic cruise control.
I know that of course - with cruise control I don't feel 'in control' of the speed or the throttle. I guess that is the same reason why I would much rather be the driver than to be a passenger.
Toyota has the best cruise control standard in the industry because you never need to look at it, and it's motions are intuitive.
Subaru used the same basic control layout and stalk for a long time, too.
Yes but unfortunately they changed it on the new ES and some of the newer models, it's now on the right side of the steering wheel and u need to look at it or else u will press the wrong button. The audio and tachometer controls are now reversed and on the wrong side.
its actually a pretty easy retro fit, you just have to remove the airbag on the steering wheel and unscrew the stalk from there
Problem is you will have a blue led lit cruise control switch and all the other lights on the wheel/car are white, so the blue would look silly and tacky. Then you'll wish it didn't have a blue light and switch back to oem.
