It was State Farm. So, I sold a car I planned to keep because of the mechanic screwup and ended up getting screwed twice. Live and learn.

Our 2016 Highlander was hit pretty hard by another driver shortly after we got it. We had about $4k in damage, and the driver of the other vehicle had no insurance, so I had to go through my uninsured motorist coverage. Didn't end up costing me a penny.
It did show up on the Carfax for the Highlander, but the dealership didn't care when I traded it in. They asked me about it and asked if I felt the repair had been done well and if it had been done with OEM parts. I said yes and that was the end of that. Perhaps I would have gotten a little more on the trade had that not been there, I am not sure, but it couldn't have been much, as they gave me more than I felt it was worth. I got a great deal on that trade.
