the text of mechanic is exact ( I am copy/ pasted)

First pic is driver side that's glued shut and pass side has no glue amd I can control it with the scanner. Cannot control driver side with scanner ...
What the mechanic texted you contradicts the code they pulled from the computer. or maybe there is a problem with both headlights.

Do we even know if he knows his left/driver from his right/passenger?
I would call the dealership point out the conflicting reports and ask for an explanation.

Also there is an AFS off switch under the dash on the driver side. If you press that button it disables AFS, and it might turn off the flashing AFS light on the dash.
If you do this it will be like your car never had AFS. Out of sight, out of mind.

Thanks for the info/ I did try this few months before but the AFS flashing light doesn’t go away. I also asked mechanic he said it won’t work. I also asked mechanic if we pull the fuse out he said can’t do either. These fuses are linked together with some other stuff.

Default 2013 GS350- AFS Light flashing

Respected members,

I have 2013- GS350 have 26K miles. I am getting AFS light flashing from since 2018. I parked the car because of this issue I don't drive it.
I did scan from two different Toyota mechanics, they believed the headlight needs to be replaced. my both headlights rotates/ swirls when I start the car.

I don't believe its headlights are bad. The headlight units are very expensive so I am asking for help. Anyone know any Lexus mechanic who works on side in Maryland/ Virginia or DC area? I will be very grateful to you guys.

Thanks much and Happy New Year.

Regards,
