Default Boring question about tyres-245/35r19

Sorry to ask another question about tyres but the time has come for my annual safety inspection, I've only a few mm left on the front.

My Fsport is supposed to take 235/40r19 96Y up the front but I found I have 245/35r19 93Y. Is anyone else running this size and would I be well served to replace them with the factory tyre size?
The 245/35 has more range available and is cheaper but I wonder whether the 235/40 is a more appropriate tyre from my vehicle given I can't get the 245/35 in a 96 load rating.
Thanks!

Why not upsize and get 245/40/19 instead? When I was shopping for tires last year, I found that they have more options with this size instead of the original 235/40 size

I’m running 245/40 front and 275/35 rear.

There is definitely a better selection with 245/40.

With the 245's do you rub at all? I went with 235's to be safe when I upgraded to 20's...

Was my thought too. It's an extra 4mm sidewall height...0.15748 inches in your language, shouldn't be an issue as I'm staying with 19" wheels? Only 8mm more in rolling diameter. Apparently I've already tested the extra width!
Thanks for the input all, there are definitely more options in this size, more sidewall never hurt either.

The Pilot Sport 4 are looking very good for only an extra $120 over the budget Kumhos.

The guy in the tyre shop said something about the ABS sensors might play up with the increase in the fronts. Ah well, we'll see

I still have the stock 19” wheels. No rubbing at all with 245/40.

For a 20” wheel 245/35 should be just fine. They would only be 0.4” taller and 0.3” wider than stock.

Here’s great online wheel and tire calculator to try out various combinations.

Well, I don’t think that guy knows what he’s talking about.

I’ve had 245/40 on the front and 275/35 on the rear for over 15,000 miles and have had no problems with the ABS.

Great to hear. I'm keeping 265s on the rear so the rears won't be increasing with the front but should be ok
Edit: it's perfect. The first time the car has ever driven in a straight line too!

For those who change the overall diameter of the tire, does the speedometer need adjustment?

I'm unaware of any ability to adjust the speedo

You should be fine. Just 0.4 difference in speed when you go up from 235 front 265 back to 245 f 275 back .
