Most of those speedy oil change places have a basement where the guys hide to change your oil. You just drive over the hole. Be careful not to be an idiot and drive into the hole.

I suspect most of those types of businesses have either their own business policies, or their insurance policies, that do not allow customers to remain in the vehicle during service and/or driving the vehicle into the bay.

The thought of a Jiffy Lube touching my car would scare me to death.

Back when they 1st came out & I used them before knowing the importance of a oil change, They insisted that everyone stayed in the car! they don't want anyone to fall into the pit or get in their way!

It is to my understanding that the OEM engine oil from Lexus is actually Mobil One synthetic with a Toyota label slapped onto it.

Since your previous post of worrying about 8kms I wouldn't worry at all. I usually change mine at 10K miles and sometimes longer than that if I get really busy. I use Mobil 1 EP but most synthetic oils are good for way longer than 8kms.

As said, you can go longer than the mfr. recommended OCI on any car. Just try not to push it.

Honestly I'd DIY this if you have a garage. Satisfying, fun, and way cheaper to DIY. Plus you know you've done it right.
