Stay in the car while it's on a lift? What shop would be stupid enough to allow that?
Most of those speedy oil change places have a basement where the guys hide to change your oil. You just drive over the hole. Be careful not to be an idiot and drive into the hole.
Just go to one of the speedy drive thru oil change places. Some of them will let you supply the oil & you can stay in the car.

I suspect most of those types of businesses have either their own business policies, or their insurance policies, that do not allow customers to remain in the vehicle during service and/or driving the vehicle into the bay.

Back when they 1st came out & I used them before knowing the importance of a oil change, They insisted that everyone stayed in the car! they don't want anyone to fall into the pit or get in their way!
Since your previous post of worrying about 8kms I wouldn't worry at all. I usually change mine at 10K miles and sometimes longer than that if I get really busy. I use Mobil 1 EP but most synthetic oils are good for way longer than 8kms.
