Default My 15 GS350 has no heat

Hello,

My 4th GS350 has 35k miles and heat is gone since last week. At first heat doesn't work only feet level, windshield and face levels works fine. As I messing with the climate control trying to get heat work with feet level, heat is gone at all levels now. Has anyone experience the same issue? How do you resolve it?

I suspected low coolant. There is no coolant in coolant reservoir, so I'm thinking coolant is low. My question is how do I refill the coolant? I can't find the radiator cap. What's type of coolant should I get?

I also found the fuse box in engine compartment, but can't open it. How to open it with out breaking the cap? I don't think relay fuse is blown, but never you know.

Thank you,

Rad cap is under the engine cover.

Has the car been in an accident before? The coolant escaped somehow. Either it leaked or it got consumed. Better hope it's the former. I'd start looking around for cooling stains. First place I'd suspect is the water pump/cover.

You may have servo damper control issues.

Bingo. Servo motor is probably separating or the water distribution valve (I think that's what it's called) went bad.

Does the heat work when the temperature is set to H? Mine pumps out ambient air until I select H, in which it pumps warm air out.
