My trunk wont open. the in car release or fob button do no pop it. Could it be a fuse?

Have you checked the trunk lockout button in the glove box?

Wow I did not know that button existed. That fixed it and what is that used for? Valet deturnat?

Yes. You lock the trunk via that button, lock the glove box with the physical key, and give the valet the fob without the key.
You can also lock the ski slot with the physical key, which blocks all access to the trunk.
