I've heard those were a lot of fun when dating.

First of all, one of the significant considerations when I chose my 2014 GS350 was measurement #3: the width so that you can easily fit a set of golf clubs "horizontally" in the trunk (actually 4 golf bags). As opposed to all the german competitors which had more cubic footage, but required diagonal placement of golf bags, and thus less convenient usage involving more back strain. Just to fit a 3rd golf bag involved removal of drivers and fiddling and stuffing and terribleness.

Second, is that spec right for the 2020 model? I saw the same thing at emunds.com and lexus.com. But 2013-2019 models show 14.3 cubic ft. None of the other dimensions has changed for the 2020 model, except they added 4 cubic feet to the trunk?! No way, right?!

There's no way I could get 4 golf bags in my GS 350 trunk unless they were all small carry bags. My trunk is pretty full with one golf bag, a few extra clubs, a couple pair of golf shoes, a couple of golf umbrellas, a few dozen golf ***** and some towels. I might could add one small carry bag, but...

So, just how many cubic feet does the GS 350 trunk really have? Is it only 14.3 cu. ft. or is it bigger than the LS trunk with 18.4 cu. ft.?

I think mine (2014 GS 350 F-sport) is 14.3. Three carry bags fit horizontally easily. Fourth fits without too much trouble. Two across the bottom. Two others right on top. Just regular carry stand bags--not staff bags. Maybe the trunk on the hybrid is smaller? (But I didn't think so.)

Its the way it is measured. Different methodology than years past. Same method for 2020 ES and 2020 GS, so yes, a GS does have a larger trunk volume than an ES.

So a drastic rise in the cargo space spec between identical 2019 vs 2020 GS. But no change between 2019 and 2020 ES. That’s so weird?!
