Wind Noise
Has anyone experience excessive wind noise (usually around 45-60mph) on the passenger side door of their GS. Mine sounds like a window is open but its not. I have checked the seal around the door and seems OK. Thanks for any advice on what could be causing this.

You aren't, by chance, using your ventilated seats and hearing the rushing air noise it makes when you lean forward toward the dash, are you?

I haven't turned them on since i had the car..LOL...Its sounds like its coming from the top portion of the window towards the back where the door meets the pillar.

I remember hearing excessive noise which sounded like it was coming from different places in the car but it turned out it was actually the sunroof.
The fix is a newer rubber seal. Read through this thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...ml#post9958081

Open the sunroof shade and see if you the wind noise increases. That's what I did one day, and holy cow, I thought my sunroof was open. Replaced the rubber seal about three weeks ago, and silent like a New York library, even before the COVid - 19 pandemic.

My 18 has the same issue and it is the drivers side door. I tend to hear it more when temperatures are cooler, not so much in the summer months. If you have auto folding mirrors, fold the mirrors in while driving and the noise will most likely go away. I didn't notice the wind noise till after I applied paint protection film to the mirrors. Other GS's have the same issue but not all.
