WeatherTech cleaning
What are you guys using to clean your WeatherTech mats? Have used Dawn soap, simple green, and car soap and can't seem to get them clean. I've used a couple different brushes and it just doesn't get the dirt out of the mat.

I usually use a pH-balanced APC to clean them (CarPro MultiX or Chemical Guys Nonsense). In the past I’ve used all kinds of normal APC’s and noticed it tends to dry out WeatherTechs. As for brushes, try using those drill-attachment brushes which should get all of the dirt out. I noticed your located near me. If your GS is AWD and can wait until this quarantine is over, you can have my WeatherTechs as I plan on purchasing the rubber OEM floormats.

They suggest buying their cleaner that they make for them but I doubt it's going to do that much better than what I've already tried. But was hoping somebody tried that cleaner and said yes it works amazing

I have the oem all weather mats, I can never keep them clean either. Im thinking of giving the a thorough cleaning one day and putting some sort of sealant on them. Anyone ever tried that?

Weather Tech makes a cleaner and a dressing that I have, the cleaner is very replaceable, but the dressing makes them nice and black and fresh looking without being slippery.

I only “deep cleaned” my weather techs one time. I took them to the car wash and clipped them to the wall, sprayed them with car wash pre soak, waited a bit, sprayed with simple green that I brought with me, and then scrubbed hard as hell with a nylon brush. Then I blasted them with the car wash high pressure soap, then car wash high pressure rinse. It got them almost back to new, only the drivers mat still showed a tiny bit of dirt, but it say it was 95% back to new. It really took a lot of scrubbing.
