Was a good chase, and a good car for a chase. He had great power, decent ground clearance to avoid obstacles, plenty of high speed stability.

No accidents during the chase apart from a small contact at the very end, and they were able to arrest him without any shots fired.
About as good an ending as you can have under the circumstances.

So has manufacturing ended on the GS? If not, do we know the date?
In non-COVID I'd assume that they'd take late summer to retool and start producing the new MY right about now.

It's over after the 2020 model year.

Right. So for Lexus: model year = manufacturing year? I know I bought my 2004 Toyota in 2003.
I'd like to know if I can still "order" a GS to my specification, or just have to hunt one down that's configured the way I want. And that hunt's going to get harder and harder the longer I wait.

Model year does not always equal manufacturing year. I picked up my 2018 GS in November of 2017, therefore it had to have been built sometime in 2017.

Lexus said production of 4GS will end in August 2020. August is just about over now with 2 days left. I'd say it's safe to say production is over and you won't be able to order one.

That's the answer I was looking for. Thanks!
