Hi,
Did anyone paid for the pre-paid maintenance at the Lexus dealer?
If so, how much paid and is it worth it?
I heard we can still cancel it even we purchased it.

Also, you are correct. It is cancellable and can be prorated back to you in the method you paid. If you finance for example it will go back to your loan, but if you paid cash they will send you a check. Its also a transferrable item

I did it on my 15 GS and I have it on my 19 Highlander, but I didn't do it on my 19 GS.
Here's how I look at it. It is NOT a way to save money, as there are easier ways to save money on maintenance. A lot of the items, like air filters, are super easy and much less costly to just do yourself.
With that said, I like having the prepaid maintenance plan and consider it a luxury item. Kind of like getting Starbucks when I could just make coffee at home. I loved on my 15 that, when it was due for service, I could just call, set it up, have the service, and not worry about how much each service would cost. I felt no need to go through the list and do an "a la carte" service. Just order it all up! It was super convenient. I am rather sorry that I didn't do it on my 19 GS and have considered calling up the dealer to see if they'd sell me a package now.

Which is interesting. When I bought my GS and they offered the maintenance plan to me, I declined as I just didn't feel like spending any more money that night, but after I declined I asked if I could purchase it later on and they told me it was only available at the time of the vehicle purchase. I thought that was unfortunate and didn't think much of it, but have later come to realize that they either changed their policy since, or more likely it was just a line to try to get me to buy it then.

It's overpriced and some of recommended stuff is unnecessary, like a tire rotation every 5k miles. I do it every 10k miles with oil changes.
You can also do maintenance at the Toyota dealership for less money.
Honestly the most important thing is oil changes, then air filter, plugs when you need it, transmission and rear diff you don't touch for a long time. On my car I'm not touching transmission. Also brake pads when you need it.

For Toyota/Lexus products u don't need it cause they're low maintenance cars and most services are cheap and aren't necessary anyway.
For Germans I don't know.![Big Grin](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Never. Not ever. Not for any car. Especially not for a Lexus.

I had the ppm on my ‘15, which was CPO and Lcertified. It was ok I got it mainly so my wife could just drop off the car. Depends on how good your dealership is.

Does PPM cover the major service if purchased during CPO?

I think it was about 1k- 1.5k no more than that. it covered the manuf maiintence schedule, the most they did was change the spark plugs, and oil, that's about it.
