Peasodos I need your expertise, I am doing the GSF tail-light conversion. There are two different part Numbers with a 45$ dollar difference in price. Do you know if the difference is a big one?

ALSO, Diode dynamite SS3 lens are interchangeable, all I have to do is buy the yellow lens and swap if I want. OR now they have lens covers way more quicker. I suggest to Anyone to go PRO power level regardless of beam pattern or color.

Is what I used. As far as I know the only difference in the 2016+ tails was the one with chrome accent, regular GS and the one with Black chrome accent GS F. Maybe they gave later models a newer part number but didn't really make any changes. Lexus/Toyota does this with other parts, same exact part just change the number after a few years.

I was originally going to install the Elite kit (Type B) from diode dynamics and be happy. I happened to have a set of regular flat SS3 Sports and made the mistake of comparing them to the Elites. The SS3 Sports throw a taller and wider beam than the Elites and were slightly brighter in spots. The Elites are more consistent and even.
Anyways, because of this thread I went ahead and also got a set of Pros to compare.
Top is Elite, middle is Sport, bottom is Pro. This is about 6 ft from the wall corner. These are the lights without the garnish in front.

Unfortunately, the 2016+ fog light garnishes block some of the lens, and you end up loosing a lot of light (around 40%) for the SS3s. The beam size and pattern itself is the same, it just becomes dimmer with the garnish in front.
Crude example:

The Elites don't suffer this because the optic is already short and centered on the light. So no light cannons for the 2016+
