Can’t really go fast here in the Bay Area with all
this traffic. The most is you might take a corner at a bit of elevated speed. Not talking about tracking the car.

You are welcome! I'm glad I could help, I wanted other members here who are maybe due for a new set to maybe try and get this tire for a good price before it goes out of stock.

I would imagine that these should be on par with those. Given the deal they had on them, it came out to about $648 with tax. I wanted the Yokohamas but they would be double. Just trying to stay on a budget.

I appreciate all fellow forum members. Life is so much better with the forums.
Yes I agree that is quite the deal for 4 New tires if I understand it correctly. You could actually replace them 2x's vs the $1200 plus sets out there. lol!

Haha that’s right. You can essentially get two sets for the price of one. I really wanted the Yokohamas. But given that the current Bridgestone RE050 works fine, I took a chance.

The way I see it, at least it is a well known brand and not some cheap tires.

I will definitely report back once I’ve put them on and some miles.

Anyone have experience with Michelin Cross Climate tires? Just got a 19 FSport and these tires look like they are made for snow/winter or something. Just look a tad strange to me (the novice that I am)

I have a set of the older 05 Gmax. They have been great!

The tires I received are also mid 2021 production. I’ll probably have them put on tomorrow.

I'm guessing most of these Tire Rack "2020 Production" Potenza Sport tires were actually manufactured in 2021 since this specific model was released sometime around mid 2021 here in the US.

I had mine delivered straight to the installer, a nearby Pep Boys. My set was stacked in their showroom, similar to the tires they sell, when I got there the next day for my appointment. They charged me around $85 out the door price for the set. I noticed they charged a bit more for the rears vs front tires.

Tire Rack currently also has the Bridgestone Potenza S007 still in stock for around $560 before tax, see link below. 245-40-19 fronts are "2020 Production" & 275-35-19 rears are "2019 Production".

Seems the "Special / Closeout" Potenza Sport 245-40-19 size for $153 each is currently out of stock now.

$85 is not bad for a pep boys. Out here ill
probably be paying $100 or so. I’m also going to do an alignment since they are new tires. That will be about $80-90 as well.

To our benefit the tires are 2021 production.

If you have uneven tire wear with your current set then you should get an alignment with the new set. Not sure how much they charge for alignments nowadays. It's been a while for our household with 3 vehicles, probably close to 15 years.

Only issue is that my steering wheel is off center a few tiny degrees to the left.

These cars only have toe adjustment from factory anyways.

I’m looking forward to having them installed on the car.

I just installed a set of the CrossClimate2 on my 2020 GS last week. Too early to have full impressions, but thus far I am impressed. They felt super stable in a torrential rain storm this past weekend and feel firmer, yet more supple over bumps (if that makes sense), than the OEM Michelins that came with the car.

Thanks! They seem super 'extra' haha. The tread looks legit. Read some reviews and they seem to be pretty good, more expensive than what I used on my '15 GS (Toyo and then... well I forget now, ha)

I've only drive around 100 miles, but so far so good. Rated for 60k miles it looks like as well.

@Wincer94 just had the tires installed today and my first impressions are that the tires are much nicer than the RE050A. Much smoother and more planted feel with the wider size all around.

We definitely got a good deal on these tires. I can't wait for rainy season here in Cali to see how they handle on wet roads. Supposed to do well based on most reviews, even better than some of the more popular UHP or Max Performance Summer 300 treadwear model tires. Hopefully, we'll get at least 15K miles on them.
