I don’t see why they wouldn’t last 15k in the rear. The front tires may last longer for sure.

love that Atomic Silver color. My Mercedes CLS55 is Pewter and love how it hides dust and imperfections. My GS is black, sexy when clean for about 5 mins haha.

Main complaint regarding the Potenza Sports from the reviews seem to be tread wear. But, I did got over 30K miles on the OE Potenza RE050A set. That model has a higher tread depth though. My front tires always wear out faster than my rears.

Yeah, Atomic Silver is definitely a nice color and hides dust & dirt well. Very similar to BMW's Donington Grey or their Oxide Grey color which is very slightly richer in color, like liquid metal from certain angle and lighting condition.

The RE050 only has a rating of 140 for thread wear, whereas the Potenza Sport has 300 thread wear.

So far I’m liking the Potenza Sports. For a daily driver they ride good and handle well too. I don’t expect the rear tires to last more than 15-20k miles if that. With staggered tires, the rear always wears faster.

These were a great deal @Wincer94. Good looking out my friend.

You're welcome! Yeah, me too. I'm also liking how my car drives and handle now as well. Seems sportier than before with how the tires grip, the sharper more precise steering, and firmer sidewall vs my previous sets.

Even when I drove to Vegas when it was over 105 F, tires were 36 psi front & 37 psi rear COLD in the morning and the psi went up to 43 front and 44 rear, the car was still comfortable and the drive / handling was still pretty good.

Typically with RWD, the rears wear out faster. But my last 4 staggered sets, the fronts were gone before the rears.

I would drop air pressure for the hot weather right now still. That high pressure is going to give accelerated extra wear in the middle treads of that tire.

What I meant to say was, I started in LA where it was in the 80s and the tires were 36 & 37 psi. On my way towards Las Vegas, the tire pressure went up by about 7 psi. The tire pressure in Vegas was about a couple of psi higher, 38 & 39 so it wasn't that bad.
