Help evaluating a deal
Hey guys,
im looking to buy a gs f sport in the next month. There are 3 deals that I found so far. All for a gs f sport.
All 3 are clean cars. No accidents.
2013 66k miles for 17k
2015 75k miles for 19k
2015 45k miles for 23k
any help in deciding would be appreciated
thanks

They all seem like pretty good deals.
Are you planning to work on it yourself?
Are you planning to keep it for many years and many miles?
How much is $4k savings worth to you right now.
I'd say it's between the two 2015s.

The 15s would have the updated navigation system with free traffic/weather, versus having to pay for a subscription through Sirius/XM for traffic/weather on the 13, if that is important to you at all. Other nav improvements as well.

im just concerned that nothing will break down with higher mileage.

Personally would negotiate $$ down on the $23k for that '15 to see how far they are willing to go - updated infotainment system and lower mileage. Offer $21.5 and see what they say. But if possible, drive both the 2015's and see how they compare.
If budget was the primary concern, i'd go with the 2013. I have a non f-sport '13 with 60k miles and the reliability has been excellent.

If the $4K price difference is a non-issue (mostly), then I'd lean towards the 2015 with 45k miles. My goal is always to get the best car I can afford with the lowest mileage, as I tend to drive my cars for quite a while. If the middle one is, for example, in a color you like better, then you'll need to decide if the $4k is worth having that color. Personally, I know I didn't want white under *any* circumstances, so that was a deal breaker for me. I ended up with a black on black 2017 GS (bought 2 weeks ago) with 29k miles. The color I wanted was Smoky Granite Mica, which was impossible to find - for me anyway.
Good luck!

Don't forget to register on Lexus Owners to insert the VINs and see if there is service history on these cars. You can also check the options and packages they came with. Or you can link the websites here and let the CL detectives go to work for you.

Nope - mine was a base GS350 - from a national used car franchise that shall remain nameless. :-)
The F-Sports in my area were just overpriced (IMO) which put them out of my budget, and a number of them had accidents. I couldn't justify the additional cost, and I'm happy with the model I got. It was clean, and had lower mileage than most other more expensive models.
