Default Deep clunking noise when braking at high speed

Anyone experienced a deep clunking noise when braking above 30 mph? It sounds also like I'm going over rumble strips. I took the rear wheel off and inspected both side. My rear right calipers seemed like it wasn't pushing out great when I was pumping the brake...could that be it? It would come out a bit but then go back, like it would pulsates out and in when brakes were being pumped.. Could the caliper gone bad? Brake fluid is at the correct level. Any ideas, thoughts, suggestions welcome. Thanks!

Check your rotors and pads. You might be over extending your calipers or one of them is sticking? I'd get it checked out. Brakes is something you don't want issues with.

Did some more snooping around. The pads were worn evenevenly. The inside pad was twice as thick as the outside ones. Bought some Akebono pads and it's gotten better but noise is still there. Having the rotors turned today. While waiting, i'm going to grease up the caliper pins...they were a little sticky..so that may have contributed to the even pad wear. The adventure continues.

Did your pads have the Metal guide shims on the top/bottom?

In the pic below it’s the 4 silver color clips at the bottom:

The original one only had 1 clip on each pad, but when I installed the new pads, I put 2 on for each pad. Could that have been the cause for the pads moving around when braking causing the noise? Some threads suggested that could have caused some "clunking" noises...

its supposed to have two on each pad. That allows it to slide in the guide smoothly.

Not sure if it was the missing clip on each pad or the rotors, or the pins on the calipers, but after new pads, regreased the pins, and the new clips on the new pads, the noise is gone. Hope this help someone.

Probably the missing clips on the pads.
