Congrats on your new truck.

Wow, Salvage Title on the GS.

Sounds like a good deal.

$22K for a salvaged title? Not sure who is more insane, the first or second buyer?! Congrats on the truck. My buddy is on his 3rd new RAM in as many years. Keeps Insisting the next will be more reliable than the previous! They have all spent more time at the dealer's garage than his. No lemon laws in AZ, so he's out of pocket each time. Now that I've said that, $22K for a salvaged GS seems totally sane...

I posted for $22K but wanted to see what is real offer going to be, as I mentioned in my other post above sold less than that of course!

I was kinda jerky in my last post. All the best on the new truck. They certainly look nice enough. In many respects, their tech is lightyears ahead of Lexus, but same can be said for the base Kia these days. LOL! Camping sounds amazing. Anything away from crowds, lines, heat and smelling your own dragon breath in a mask sounds superb at this point.

Glad you hear you're not leaving us @shurik74 - you're a valuable member of CL and I always enjoyed your posts, especially when you started tinkering with the GSh that you purchased for your wife. I'm glad that vehicle is still in your family - you should let your wife know that the hybrid was only available for custom order starting in 2016 and that Lexus will discontinue the GS completely soon.. she'll appreciate what she drives even more!

Congrats on your new truck - the way that I see it, you only live once and if camping is a hobby you take seriously, nothing better! I hope it stays reliable and trouble free for you. Everyone is different so if you're happy with daily driving the Dodge Ram, more power to you!

All the best my friend,

Thank you bro! My wife told me to stay away from her GS, she loves it and doesn't want anything else! I still use her car sometimes visiting SF city, the only part I don't like is CVT tranny but other than that Luxury package is nice in hybrid.

Camping is our family favorite part of summer! Kids just love it, we always been thinking about trailer but I was not into trucks at all before. Picture below how we used to travel but minivan was not big enough for us anymore, for past 3 years I was renting a truck to get used to and test drive all models across half ton brands to see what I might like etc.
