Just wanted to share my decision I have made last week! Little history...
I was sitting in my garage after I was done washing and detailing my GS as usual procedure and looking at sparkling clean GS with some thoughts like "Maaan, it's been almost 5 years we are together and GS still looks attractive and I still get compliments. Longest vehicle I ever owned in my life and weird idea came up to post it for sale with price tag I don't mind to sell and see if someone will be interested. I've been thinking already about something new for a while. I took good pictures and next day posted on Craigslist, one hour later I got a call "I'm very interested, can I see it in 30 mins?"... test drive, typical questions, guy pulled cash out of his pocket "I'm buying it!". I was shocked, sold many cars but never so quick.
Came home thinking what should I do now?! I read, watch youtube about new RAM 1500 but never thought buying one! I also considered used LX570 or RX350. We always camping, my wife wants camping trailer for a while already. I rented all brands across half ton line, most liked RAM with HEMI. Started checking out pricing, trims etc, basically doing deep homework. My choice ended with 2020 Longhorn Edition HEMI with 6'4" bed, unique interior brown color, found one 130 miles away, test drove and I was sold, so smooth thanks to air suspension, great materials, huge navigation screen and bunch of other features. I ended up buying when dealer said "you are approved for 0% interest loan" free money. It's my 4th day driving and I'm so happy with my purchase and decision.
I'm still going to be here since my wife has 2013 GS450H and we don't plan to sell it in near future, she loves GS!
I absolutely love saddle brown interiors, and the RAM is my favorite truck. Still a very different ride than a GS but a very good vehicule! I would actually like to own both when GS-Fs will become affordable (a GS-F for the summer and a 4WD truck for the winter). I'll keep my AWD GS all year-round in the meantime

Yes, very different than GS but we still have another GS in the family that I can drive anytime I want.... BTW, GS-F is on my list as well for 2020 model year used in near future once I pay off RAM in 3 years...
Sold your GS you loved for 5 Years for a truck because you owned it too long? Spontaneously bought a truck because you love camping even though you were still camping before.
sheesh that’s quite the change. Do you think you’d drive anything other than a truck rest of your life because camping? Good luck with the truck? Do you mod your wife’s GS?
how many mile do ur gs have and how much u sold it for if you dont mind i asking. i was thinking the samething selling my gs for something else but i dont know the price range
Congrats! I am way more of a GS/sedan guy than a truck guy, but whatever makes you happy! You had a good looking GS. Plus you still have one in the family, so that’s nice. The truck also looks nice.

Well, well... we are all different characters here with own vision and life style! I liked or loved every car I owned, they all were special to me but life is short and I don't want to stick with one model for many years when so many choices on market. My wife doesn't want any mods on her GS450H, she says she is totally satisfied as is, I only converted front end and rear bumper diffuser to F-sport.

Salvage title... 59K miles... Listed for $22K sold for $20K, Maybe I could push for more, take my time but buyer was super nice guy... not bad considering the fact that it's so hard to sell Salvage title car with price over $10K (based on my own experience).

If you live in the city I totally agree with you! Sacramento, CA is a village to me since I grew up in Moscow, pretty much like NY, parking is not an issue here.

I used to be the same, only sedans since I was like 14 but sometimes it's ok to make changes like that, especially when you turn 40+ hahaha...
