2015 / CPO / 28K mi / $27,500
Would like opinion on above - here are some facts re the car:
- atomic silver / flaxen interior
- AWD
- Luxury package with 19” wheels / AVS
- Original sticker $60,200
Questions and Thoughts:
1) Is the front grill different on the 2015 model? It appears starting 2016 the grill changed?
2) Any experience or comments with luxury package would be appreciated?
3) Could I put new F Sport wheels on this car?
4) Any issues or concerns with 2015 model that I should be concerned about?
5) I was leaning on 2017 or 2018 models but this car has my attention - any thoughts?
6) Is above sticker price legit?
Thanks.

Frankly, I would be all over that car.
1) Yes, the GS got a styling refresh for the 2016 model year. I've owned both (a 2015 and now a 2019) and both are great.
2) Luxury package is fairly rare and a good find.
3) Yes, you can put F Sport wheels on this car.
4) No issues with 2015. Many consider it to be one of the best years as you get the older styling, which some prefer, plus the updated navigation system.
5) Only a choice you can make, but I would have no hesitation unless some of the things you want, like the more capable safety suite which came available in 2016+, are important to you. But I would not hesitate on seriously considering this car.
6) Original sticker sounds right. The sticker on my 15 F Sport was right at $60k. Price of accurately $27.5k reflects the features/options combination with the low miles on this car.

I agree with JDR with one caveat. Although F Sport wheels can be used, they must be the same size all around for the AWD. Staggered wheels on AWD will cause problems. Standard F Sport wheels are 8” front and 9” rear... just get 4 front wheels and you’ll be fine.
There’s an AWD wheel thread recently started that you might find interesting.
Register on Lexus drivers to input the VIN to review available service records.
Check Carfax for red flags, not a perfect search, but better then nothing.
If all looks good, grab that fast, Lux is pretty rare, and desirable, that color combo even more so.
Finally, used car prices are going up, it’s been reported that Covid has caused a shortage of new inventory, so buyers are looking more at used inventory... more demand means higher prices... move quickly.

If that's the one, then it has the Luxury version of the F Sport wheels so I wouldn't change them.

It’s also affected by the Fuel Pump recall... And the Service history does not reflect that it was done. From what I understand, Lexus dealers won’t sell the car if the recall work hasn’t been done.
On the bright side, you get a 2 year unlimited mileage warranty (excluding some bits and pieces).

If the dealer did any maintenance, it would probably show up on the https://drivers.lexus.com/lexusdrivers page, just check the VIN there.

Yep that’s the one.
Unfortunately sold at 3:00 PM today.
Was planning to make a down payment - but no go.
So I keep looking for another diamond.
Thanks for the comments and recommendations.

peasodos - thanks - great advice - that will be the last time I post re a car I am seriously considering.
Would hate to think someone on this Forum went behind my back but nothing surprises me these days.

I went inside to ask the sales manager and he told me that they just have a discussion to purchase the car. I didn't see anyone there waiting at all. I saw it late Friday on the website as I recalled. I kicked myself for waiting til morning Saturday for it.
I purchased a new 2020 instead now. Given a really good deal is probably a good deal for others also. Btw, this car wasn't listed on the forum. It wasn't met to be as faith would have it
Good Luck searching.
