I was test driving 2013’s/2014’s two weeks ago with 115,000 miles. Cars still felt brand new in every way, shape and form.

But those cars were priced at $13,500-$16,000. This guy is saying $11,000 and change for this thing?? I don’t think so.

But they are unbelievable in build quality and they age better than any higher end luxury car I’ve maybe ever seen.

If between GS and ES, which is more reliable as you have seen?

Lexus reliability is basically the same across all models, same with Toyota.

For luxury cars:
Old money buy Mercedes, New money buys BMW, and Smart money buys Lexus.

Build quality of the GS is superior to the build quality of the current ES. Sit in each one and you will see.

I checked the inventory at the dealer to learn the price of a high-mileage GS350. The car isn't there. Either it hasn't been added yet, or someone bought it since the video was recorded.

Eventually all cars will break down sometime, probably that maybe a special case because it was taken care really well. The key is to buy it new or buy an used one that has been taken really good care (easier said than in reality for used vehicles).

I still think "MADE IN JAPAN" GS has slight better quality then some model that made in US or Canada. I think some RX were made in Canada and ES starting to be build in US now

I am pretty sure all GS models regardless which generations were all 100% MADE IN JAPAN and I think certain year RX and ES was not MADE IN JAPAN

Sounds right. One can tell from the VIN #.

I heard Canada builds good cars also.

Almost all RXs have been built in Canada, for several years now. The ES production started up in Kentucky a few years ago. Both of those are incredibly reliable so I don't personally put any stock in where it is built.

My GS was built in Japan, my Highlander in Indiana, and my Tacoma in Mexico. No issues on any of them so far.

14 Canadian RX here with 50k trouble free miles. Glad I didn't purchase the extended warranty.

ES Hybrids are still Japan. The gas ones are in Kentucky.
