Default Break squeal

Have a 2015 gs 450 rwd.. had front pads replaced about 10k miles ago from firestone with oem pads and had front rotors resurfaced. The front breaks squeal at different times. Sometimes with cold start sometimes hours after driving.

I know there was talks about this in the past but what should I do? Currently front breaks are at 9mm

either u change them out with the new updated pads or you have to deal with it every morning and wait till you need brake and change it out.

We have a 2015 awd and had the pads replaced by Lexus several months ago (they were ready to change but we were also fed up with the noise). We made sure they were aware of the tsb even though it technically doesn’t apply to our model and 6k miles later, zero squeal.

It probably would be better to replace your rotors and pads. The resurfacing is probably the problem. The rotors may be shot and it wasn't cost effective to resurface. Resurfacing has to be done with precision and the rotors are probably fatigued to begin with. The thickness has to be same all around and I doubt they were machined correctly. "Brake"....edit the title so it can be linked to related topics.

I cringed...! I know it's not fair to lump them all together, but after bad experiences at 3 separate Firestone locations, I've never been, and never will go back.
