I have a 2013 GS350 base and wanted to know if anyone on here has tried this gloss black trunk emblem on their car? I’m interested in getting it

So I ended up pulling the trigger on this emblem and I’m very pleased with it

Look good! 👍. Love how clean the GS looks debadged..How was the install? Does the new emblem install with adhesive only? Any chance you can get some more close up pics posted plz?

here’s a close up I took earlier. Install was pretty easy. I used a blow dryer to heat up the adhesive for a few minutes then used a wedge shaped plastic trim removal piece to get behind the emblem and work my way around and it came off pretty easily. I was able to get most of the leftover adhesive off with my fingers and used goo gone for the rest and it came off fast.

After that, I used Turtle Wax polishing compound to remove the ghosting and then wiped it off and cleaned the area with soap and water. And yes, the new emblem comes with 3m adhesive tape

Those inserts are nice but I prefer the look with more contrast
