Default Annoying rattle in dash trim pieces

I have a very annoying rattle on the driver and passenger side aluminium trim pieces.
Has anyone else had similar problems, and if so, how did you fix it?
Or should i just take the car to the dealer?

Are you sure that it's coming from the pieces themselves? Ie if you hold them, does it stop?
Nice car BTW, nice to see a fully equipped example.

Remove the trim pieces and put Tessa tape behind it. It's an adhesive backed fabric tape, same stuff they use to wrap wire harnesses:
Amazon Amazon

Attached are the trim panel removal instructions.

You can also see pics of the removal from @eddie420 Dash Removal thread:

Didn't expect it to be that complex. I think i'll bring it to the dealer instead of trying to do it myself.

It's really not that hard once you get into it. All you need is basic plastic trim removal tools. Everything is held in by clips with a couple bolts. If your still covered under warranty go to dealer, otherwise expect to pay up. They will probably charge something ridiculous like 3-4 hours labor for a 30-40 minute job.

Even if you're still under warranty, it is very difficult to get dealer to fix rattling on a older car. They will find reasons to deny your claims. I fixed my rattles myself with some tessa tape like Peasodos recommended. It's not that hard taking trim piece apart, even I as a noob could do it
