So the painted piece just clips on to the headlight housing? I gotta really do my homework before dropping a big cha-ching on this project.

@BMGS have you started up your car while you are standing in front of it? Maybe I'm amused by silly little things, but their up/down sweep upon startup is fun to watch. You have to remote start it or have someone else start it for you because it happens right on startup, whether the lights are on or off.

To confirm, do any of the single beam LEDs do that sweep? Mine didn't but I have a base model so I am not sure if mine are a lower trim. I am selling my single beam LED housings so would be helpful to know if there are a few different housings.

I believe the 2016 and 2017 Luxury models with the single projector LED still had the side to side sweep.

Mine only goes up and down, not side to side.

Wait wait, AFS is different than auto leveling. I think all GS headlights only have auto leveling (up and down), this includes the triple-beam version but they don't have AFS (Adaptive Front-lighting System - can move left and right).
Well, except the single projector beam on the Lux package I guess? This one has AFS?

After you installed the lights but before your mechanic did the Techstream initialization, how did the lights behave? Did the low beams and turn signals work?
I am trying to plan for the worst case scenario in case I have issues with the Techstream initialization.
I think it won't be terrible for a few days to sort it out , if needed, as long as I can turn on low beams and have turn signals. I'll try this next week once the modules arrive, I couldn't wait for Cyber Monday!
Thanks!

They sell that piece in different colors right? I saw my white color code (083) on the list of parts.

There are two adjustment points. Your picture is missing one.The picture above is for left and right adjustment. The missing one is for up and down adjustment.
