Default 2018 GS 350 F Sport Rev Limit

What is the rev limit of the GS 350 F Sport? Based on the tachometer, it appears to be 6800 but I have read it is 6600.

Put it in manual mode, go to 2nd gear, floor it and then come back and report where it forced the shift. I'm interested too, but I'll let you do it.

It depends... Here are two videos both done in Manual mode letting the car upshift on its own. You can see it actually shift at redline in the 2nd video whereas it doesn't it the 1st.

Here it is in auto mode for comparison. You can see how much earlier it shifts in automatic mode.

It could be engine rev limiter is lower when it isn't fully at operating temp.

The second video confirmed the rev limit is above 6600. Thanks.

I had previously read (here) that WOT delivered the same behavior regardless of mode (at operating temperature).

Is that correct?
