Retrofit Passenger Seat backrest Adjustment Buttons

Retrofit Passenger Seat backrest Adjustment Buttons
Here are the buttons I'm talking about:
I saw this pic in a post from a member in China. I don't think we ever got this in the US market, maybe the Canadians have it.
I found out the part number for Flaxen switch is:
84920-30280-E0
It's available for purchase from any US dealer, at least on their website, but I'll know for sure when i try to place an order for it.
I checked and the diagram for the 18 way adjustable USA passenger seat had the mount for the switch in the seat frame:
First I am going to take my passenger backrest panel off and investigate if that mounting point and plug for this switch is actually there. There is a possibility the plug for this already exists.

Bad News:
1. The mount does not exist on our seat frame.
2. The wire/plug does on exist on our harness.
Here is a pic of were the mount is suppose to be located on the frame.
here is just a pic of the back of the seat.
Workarounds:
1: Don't need the mount can cut into the seat foam and epoxy the seat switch in.
2: I could get the switch, wire it up, and hope/pray that it works. That's if it's even available through Lexus dealers in the USA, I would only know once I place an order.

But buying and actually having it instock are two different things.
The switch from Japan would be for the wrong seat since they are rhd, but maybe can be flipped around.

I would tell them to stop messing around and give us all the options like other markets, some people would gladly pay for these luxury's.
Apparently in China the 450h new is $143k+ USD and comes fully loaded with everything, but they cut corners with us to save a few bucks here/there lol. I think Japan is similar price to USA, not sure and they also get all the options. Most cars in other markets come fully loaded.

I'm kinda surprised it's not pre-wired plug and play. You could check the driver's seat for it since that would be the passengers seat for right hand drive cars. correct??? or am I not thinking right here? I know thats not going to help you out, but I just got kinda curious now and don't have the skill/bravery you have Peasodos!

Not sure if it would be exactly the same or not, but I believe the LS460 had this switch, so perhaps you could find an LS one (at a junkyard for little cost?) and try it out.

The LS has always has this as a standard feature. The whole gamble is even if I wire it up correctly it may not work, the ecu might not have the programming or the hardware for the switch input. I'll have to look into the LS wiring diagram, most likely the switch/plug/outputs are exactly the same. If I can get a cheap used LS switch to test out it would be better than gambling $100 on a GS switch if I can even get it.
