Default Thank You

With all the negative crap in the news lately, and I don't care what politics you follow or your opinions on current events. I just want to thank all the members and contributors (or is it the moderators too?) for focusing on what WE BELIEVE IN, which is helping each other on our cars.

To be honest, reading this forum is a nice relief for me each day to see how open and helpful everyone is to all that need it. Long live the GS!! Thank you!
Thumbs up to everyone of you!

Yes! On other forums I’m involved in it seems like people always find a way to inject their two cents about politics, even when admins nicely ask them not to discuss it. It’s annoying, and you are right, it is refreshing and a nice break from the madness to visit this forum.

It seems like everything is politicized and overblown for ratings or for votes or whatever these days - even cars and the car industry! I agree that its nice to find some relief in the form of the 4GS subforum where everyone is just genuinely trying to help each other out.

I really want the GSF but dealers are asking my soul for it. But then again, the F is missing a bunch of luxury stuff that the 350 has so I'm not sure if it's even worth the price tag for only the V8 pretty much and I can get to the grocery stores 1 second faster.

With about $30K extra I could just buy a Camry TRD and have 2 cars.

The 4GS forum is a great place. I feel like many of you are my friends, even if I don’t know your names, faces, or backgrounds. Even Car Chat on CL gets hostile, but this forum is so much more relaxed. I appreciate all of you.

I’m new here but am enjoying the vibe so far. Also really enjoying my 450 more and more each time I drive it. Which is surprising to me honestly as I picked it for more practical reasons (reliability).

As a relative noob here having owned my GS for less than a month I already feel at home; this is a nice car forum to spend time without the negativity.

I haven't frequented all of CL, but the 4GS subforum definitely stands out for it's activity and the mature audience. Also, there is an incredible wealth of knowledge in the 4GS subforums, which is amazing -- especially for newer folks who can simple search and their questions will most likely be answered.

I would consider the 3rd Gen IS subforum to be active as well, but I'm not sure about the crowd there.

I hope we can all stick around to chat about our vehicles even after that go "extinct" I'm definitely proud to be a 4GS owner and enjoy our enthusiast community as well.

Are you getting rid of the '15 too? You'll have to watch the Atomic Silver thread and be sad but maybe you'll get the Ultra White Thread to be active

Great sentiment. It's nice to come here and just talk about our cars and how much we love them, how much we love working on them.

So I wandered over into the Car Chat Forum - something was on my CL digest email that sounded interesting.....YIKES! It can get a bit crazy and nasty over there to the point the moderator had to close the thread.

I definitely appreciate the vibe in this forum....maybe since the GS sells in such small numbers it ends up making this group pretty close knit. As someone else I think said, there are a number of folks in here that I feel I know and are friends. I think if we lived in the same place we might get together for a happy hour or beer at least once in a while.
