So I installed the rear view mirror with AHB sensor, the switch, and installed the headlight swivel ecu for led headlights AFS and AHB.
Then I ended up with a check AFS and check AHB notifications on the dash with yellow triangle. I put back my original headlight swivel ecu and the check AFS went away, but still says check AHB system with yellow triangle.

Then I ran Techstream, ran a health check and cleared all DTC's. Still says Check AHB on the dash.

Any idea how to get to the AHB section of Techstream?

So I disconnected the car battery going to let the car sit for 30 minutes to do a hard reset and turn it on, hopefully the Check AHB goes away.

Ok so disconnecting the car battery got rid of the Check AHB/yellow triangle on the dash. I think there may be some wiring missing in the car from the AHB sensor to the headlight swivel ecu or something else preventing the system from functioning correctly. Gotta look into this more and try again.

The system connects to the Main body ecu and there is a chance our USA ECU will not work and you need a Main body ecu from the 450h I got the rest of the parts from. If that's the case i might just return everything for a refund and give up on this retrofit.

Default Retrofit 2016 screen into 2015

I’ve joined this forum a long time ago when I had my second gen GS but was never really active. Not sure if I’m starting a new thread or not but I’ll get the hang of it. I was reading through some previous post last night and it seems pesados is the mod king. Can you retrofit a 2016 screen into a 2015?

Yes and actually for 2015 it’s plug and play. You just need and 2016+ 12.3” screen and a 2016+ Head unit. Direct swap.

Thank you. what about the center console? would that need to be changed too? You know how the 2016 has the back button and the enter buttons on it

The 2013-2015 navigation controls work perfectly fine. If you want the 2016+ one it's also a direct swap, but not necessary.

Hi Peasodos,
Did you eventually make this mod work?

I sold all the parts to another member on this forum. They said they would update the thread if they can get it working. I gave up on the mod.

I see. I have found a mirror and AHB switch on eBay, was curious if it worked out eventually, so I would know if I can buy it..

You need the correct AFS ECU for AHB and i think a wire front the rear view mirror to the AFS ecu is missing, idk I couldn't figure it out.

I have 16+ headlights, but my HL ECUs are listed as AHB. So, I assume, I just need some additional wiring, unless 16+ ECUs require front recognition camera, instead of behind the mirror light sensor.
Will try to do some additional research..

2013 had a camera/sensor on the mirror, your 2016 has the camera/sensor on the windshield. So the setup is slightly different.

In my case it is 16+ headlight retrofit to 2014 GS, so I don't have camera on the windshield :-)

I find my auto high beam is too sensitive to street lighting, such that the high beam won't switch on until the streets are really really pitch dark.
Hence I have my auto high beam switched off altogether.
