The person to contact and is responsible for this discontinuation of this 3G service is Shaun Yzquierdo at Lexus Corporate in Plano TX. He is responsible for these connected technologies, and he would best be able to help you,

I don't see how this is a Lexus problem. The issue lies with the carrier, Verizon/T-mobile/AT&T, that is discontinuing 3G services.

If I can humbly state, I bought a 2017 GS350 AWD (Non F Sport) with a sticker price of nearly $56k and I keep my cars a long time. I'm not complaining that my 2 2011's (RX350 & CT 200h) are affected as they are much older. Please note the 2018's are not affected by this issue.
For Lexus to leave all these owners of newer cars stuck with no possible solution, it just isn't right.
I've been a loyal buyer of the brand since 2002 having owned:
2002 Es300 (new)
2007 Es 350 (new)
2010 Es350 (new)
2011 Rx350 (New)
2011 Ct200h (Certified bought in 2014)
2017 GS350 (new)
2020 Nx300 (new)
Lexus needs to do better than saying "Oh well, too bad". Especially as we pay for this functionality to boot.
They knew it was coming, don't kid yourself.

This problem will be 10x worse if it's a fully "Smart Car" like a Tesla. Think about no more OTA updates and other services for ur smart car.

Or worse - they update your car without asking/tellling you and now all of a sudden your iPhone that's only a year old starts to have trouble connecting..... Or they update your Sport+ mode to something they think is better but you liked the old mode better?
There's this story of someone buying a Tesla that had a premium features disappear - granted this is a bit of a strange case but still food for thought...

PS - also - I think this could have been handled better, and maybe if enough people complain Lexus will come up with something - but that said, from what I can tell this is AT&T shutting down their 3G network that Lexus had contracted with to provide the service. I'm sure the folks who did that contract were well aware this day would come. Personally I think they should have a plan similar to what's required for car parts - they're required to produce parts for the car for 10 years after it was sold. Having a module that can be swapped out for the 3G, maybe not to a 5G but at least to a 4 G which would buy you a few more years. After 10 years I understand it could easily get problematic.

The only way this problem could be fixed is if Lexus offered a hardware retrofit kit or something for the car... probably something they are loathe to do. Seems kind of odd they wouldnt though, at least for enform subscribers, because those people are paying stupid money for Enform... and now they're going to lose all that revenue from those cars.
I don't care about it, because I don't use this gewgaw crap in cars, but I can see why others would, especially if they've been using it right along.
