Besides, what else is there? The MDX Advance was the only other option I would consider in my budget. Back when I got the GS in 2018, my intention was to pick up a 3yr old LS/LC at the end of the lease, not anymore though, not at these prices.
BMW and MB have VERY tempting offerings, but the question of reliability prevents me from seriously considering those brands. I’m stuck with Acura/Lexus.
Looking for tires now and I’m a little ashamed to say that I’m suffering from a little sticker-shock.

Couldn't agree more and I'm keeping my 18 for the long haul. I'm just as happy with it as I was the day I bought it back in November of 17. Nothing right now really interests me in the Lexus lineup and don't have a clue what I'd buy if something happened to it. I just hit 12k miles on it yesterday and won't be driving it for quite a while since we have 6 inches of snow coming today.

Plus now that I just replaced all the yellow bulbs with white LED, it looks even better, this thing is fresh! Especially the side mirror puddle lights.

Got the lease deal also. Baically paid 49k for the care in Jan 2020 and buy out in 12 mos is 28k.
Sure new offerings from Genesis are nice, but I have only 15k on the odo and doubt I’ll have more than 25k next year.
At that price the car is a steal and motivated to keep it.
Of course I want a new car. but to spend 55k or more to equal this is not worth it.
Unless dealer can really give you great finance use your house or securities accounts as collateral. I have a line open for 1.87%. Its variable and if rates go up it will too. But so does everything else. Equity in accounts and house can work for you. A good banker will get you covered.
If not, shop amung credit unions and both large and small banks. Everyone has different Finance situation and different credit score. Thus not all are standard.

My 2019 GS lease ends soon, and I am going to purchase with cash given 1) i like the car, 2) miles low due to covid, 3) market value > residual. I tried to get a live person at LFS to set up the payoff...cannot get a live person, just automated and sends you back to the dealer you dealt with to get the car. I really don't want to deal with dealer...anyone else have this issue? If I have to get it done with dealer's help, do I have to go back to the dealer where I got the car or can I go to any Lexus dealer? Thx!

All in all it was very easy. They do these all of the time. I made an appointment and when we got there, all the paperwork was ready.
