Default Clunking noise at low speed

Hi everyone,

this is my first time writing up in this forum.
I own 2013 GS450h.
recently, i noticed this clunking noise is coming from the front in the driver's side.
please watch this youtube link here to hear the noise.

It seems like some metals are hitting each other, but I'm not sure where.
Of course, I can visit the shop to check out what the problem is,
but i'd like to get as much information as i could before visiting them.

I know it is hard to diagnose only with the sound,
but please let me know if anyone can point out where that noise is coming from or what the problem is.

Thank you in advance.

Shaun

Nope... can't tell. If you want feedback, give more info.
Car recently serviced?
Miles?
Hit something?
What happened right before you started hearing the noise?
Did you look under the car?
Rotated the steering side to side while the car was parked?
Looked behind around the wheel?
Etc. etc....

the noise can be heard even on a smooth silky road, this is why i am concerned.
i just realized this noise when I opened up the window, I wasnt aware of it til now.
I am adding some of pictures under the car.

Are you trying to point out that metallic tingy sound? The wind buffeting makes it a little hard to hear.

If I were you, I’d jack up the front and remove the wheel. Have someone turn the steering wheel with the front wheels off the ground while you observe the suspension and listen for noise.

Spin the wheel, or the rotor, to see if you can duplicate the noise.

Could be something as simple as the dust shield being loose.

I anticipate it’s not going to be serious.

I had a similar-ish noise and it turned out to be a pebble stuck in between the brake rotor and the dust shield.

as chinee said, take the wheel off, on both side, and just start looking and feeling.

Wow everyone thanks for the replies and suggestions.
I finally found out what the problem was.
It turned out to be front TIRES, especially the driver's side.
W/ new tires, THE NOISE DISAPPEARED completely.
When changing to new tires, I saw some dark black rubble-ish (I don't exactly know what those were) substances between the tire and rim.
I didn't know that changing tires would make sound disappear, so I didn't pay any attention to those black thingies.
But now I think that they were the biggest suspects causing the noise.

In conclusion, my car didn't have any mechanic issue.
The noise disappeared by changing to new tires.
My ride is quiet now.

Thank you everyone.

I have this exact same issue!

But it ONLY happens first thing in the morning when im reversing out of my garage, otherwise throughout the day, i dont hear it. Its like two pieces of metal or aluminum is clanging together.

Guess ill have to wait till my next tyre change to find out exactly
