Videos will never do sound clips justice but it’s definitely louder than before. Has more of a growl at low RPMs and sounds much more alive at higher RPMs. It’s still not really loud, but that’s Lexus for you lol. My particular car has double pane glass in the front so that could be a contributing factor as well.

No, here’s a picture of the system

Do you know if the mufflers are a straight through design? I found those ProXS mufflers and just had them installed this week. I'd be curious the difference in sound. I'll try to get some clips up, but based on your videos, the S-type seems louder.

Yes, they actually do use a straight through design. My bad

Here is my GS 350 F Sport with the Borla S Type axle back only, I love the sound. Quality of the driving clip wasn't as clear as I hoped but this was an in the moment video where I just randomly pulled over while driving. I'll try again sometime soon in an open area to see if it picks up differently on camera.

Yeah, sound clips never pick up the audio all that well, sadly. Here’s a quick clip of fly by I have unlisted on YouTube if anyone is interested. For some reason, YouTube screwed the quality and it’s also recorded like 40 feet away lol. But a ton of people have told me it’s loud and sounds great

Has anyone tried this Borla axleback with a resonator delete? Or maybe Invidia paired with resonator delete? Since those are quiet in the inside as well. This Borla axleback sounds really good on the outside but still way too quiet in the inside lol. I’m gonna get an AFE Takeda S2 CAI in the near future to combat this but I was worried a resonator delete might be annoying and drone too much.

Update: I ended up going with the Takeda CAI and couldn't be happier with it paired with the Borla axleback. Here's some clips:

Sounds so mean! I rode in a friends car with the intake and I was impressed. Does it feel like there was any performance gain?

Honestly can’t tell any real difference in performance with the intake and axleback. But they both made the car way more fun to drive and I still have no drone which is another huge plus for me. I noticed I started getting better gas mileage immediately with the intake though

When highway cruising (80+), is there any drone?
