Good idea. But if that was the case, I would rather get the RC. Never drove one but I like the coupe look of it. Although, I would still get the GS over RC.

Otherwise, the GS is more luxurious, has more room inside and has more features.
Great info. I don't care about the rear seats folding. I have a van for my dad's work. I can use that to hull things anytime.

Considering these are all models from Lexus it's more or less you get what you pay for. You pay more you get more (assuming other factors the same l like year and mileage etc.). It is basically like the BMW 3 series or 5 series or the Audi A4 or the A6. When going from a GS to a IS you do feel like the IS is sportier. It is just a smaller car.
Ahhh the ES. I originally wanted an XSE camry, then an Avalon, ES, now I'm at GS and I hate the idea of having something lesser than that. Ego is big for people my age. Was even thinking about getting a used M5 but I came to my senses. Reliability and comfort is king. And the GS is a boss car as far as I'm concerned.

I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for that. Give us a review champ.

The GS is a good blend of performance and luxury, and enough size to carry 4 fully formed adults.
You sum up this thread really well. 👍🏼

Yeah but the IS looks really good on TV, I would have to drive one if I was in the market.

You mentioned awd, but also the Camaro zl1 and m5 so I'm just throwing out the GSF if rwd is an option.

RC is somewhat cramped compared to the GS. Nice car though!

What is the blanked out button for above the heated steering wheel button? I'm wondering what option I am missing!

Speaking from experience, as i currently own both (is350 fsport & gs350 fsport). The IS is smaller and more sportier. the GS is more of a larger luxury cruiser. after driving the gs for a while now, the IS feels more cramped. End of the day, the GS is the IS's physically bigger brother. It also feels more upmarket, not to say the IS feels cheap, but the GS feels better
