Bringing this thread back to life. I have had my tires (Pilot Sport AS3+) for about 9 months and 30,000 miles.
I happen to look closely after not washing for a while and the front tires are definitely rubbing the front wheel wells on both sides. It is very light, but they are rubbing.
Anyone else with the 245/40r19's seeing this? I don't think it will cause issues, but is weird considering all the feedback that this size didn't rub.
Thoughts?

So I finally got a new set of 4 four Continental DWSO6. I ended up upsizing all four tires to 245/40/19 and 275/35/19. Basically one up from the original OEM Bridgestones. As I was pulling out of the parking space and I had my wheels turned all the way out, I heard a sound. Initially, I thought it was the sound of "new" tires. But when I got out of the car, I noticed that the front tires were slightly rubbing against the inside black liner or casing inside the car (only when the wheels were all the way turned). I proceeded to show the technician and he agreed that the tire was barely touching it. As I kept turning the wheel, the sound sort of went away. He said that it would be ok. The question I have, IS IT OK? Everyone here had mentioned that upsizing is the way to go and there would be no issues. The tires are not rubbing against the body of the car. Only the inside liner is made out of a soft material. I drove the car home and I did not seem to have any issues if anything, the ride was really nice when compared to the Pontezas

Correct.
RWD is supposed to be staggered but the dealer I bought it from put squared.. I don’t mind honestly. These are a fresh set of tires so I’m not gonna go replacing them. When it is time to replace I’ll go 245/40 front and 275/40 or 35 back.
Spacers should make it handle better as it increases the cars track. Whether you can really notice the difference? Idk

I want to square up by '15 RWD F-Sport with some aftermarket wheels. Was thinking of running the 8.5 wheels on all 4 and then us a 15mm spacer to push the rear back closer to stock look.

How did the dealer square it up? Did they use the 19" 8.5 F-sport wheel on the rear and then use spacers? If so, wouldn't the rear wheels look really odd?

It’s the stock F Sports rims still, the rear F Sport rims are wider than the fronts
If you want to square an F Sport you need to go 245 all around
