Battery Replacement Warning
Does the GS 350 give a warning for when the battery needs to be replaced? I have MY13.
Thanks.

Unfortunately it does not warn you that you need to replace it. One day I went and tried to start the GS and it struggled. I knew the battery was going, my mechanic confirmed and I replaced it with an aftermarket brand with better CCA's.
Usually a load test once a year when you do your oil changes or typically done for free at some places like Autozone to confirm if you need to change it soon.

Don't let your battery get too old...I got a check engine light where the low battery voltage was causing an issue with the ECM:

I suggest testing the battery and replace if needed. Batteries for these cars are reasonably priced and not worth the risk getting stranded or damaging a computer module.

A slow crank during the winter is how it warns me.

7 year old battery - safe to replace it and be done.

Thats way too high. It should be part # 00544-MF240-575...see this thread:https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...l#post10717036
When I went to the dealer, they wanted a reasonable amount - it was under $250 for both battery itself and install.

I looked up the part number at a Lexus dealership, and it says that the battery doesn't fit my vehicle:
Is that correct?
Thanks.
