Side-to-side rotation when one tire has 5k less miles on AWD GS
I have Pirelli P7 Cinturato A/S Plus on my 2016 GS350 AWD. Three have 10,000miles, one has 5,000miles. The lesser mileage one is an A/S Plus II. It was on the drivers side rear. After my Lexus service I found it on the passenger side rear.
I’m wondering if this was intentional or the tech was being lazy. Anyone know if this sounds like an intended procedure for a tire with 5,000less miles on an AWD GS?

I think the tech was being lazy or just forgot which tire was on which side. Really no need for a tire rotation on AWD with such low mileage on the tires.
The good thing is that you have the lower mileage tire in the rear as the AWD GS is rear-biased (70% power to rear, 30% to front typically) so you want to have the tires with the best traction / lower wear on the rear wheels.
