really no more analysis needed,
simple formula
Pennzoil that you mentioned is a fantastic oil, put it in
change it between 6500 and 8000 miles
and your good to go for 300k
the breaking point is the stock oil filter shouldn't be used for 10k between changes
save your money on the analysis and only caveat
if you or any poster do mostly city driving not a mix of highway change the oil every 5k with oil and filter not the mentioned above

Chinee, I am a BITOG member and do oil analysis on every oil change. Its just become a hobby. I would just recommend you check the air filter and the housing for any leaks and such because 59ppm of silicon is a lot at 20k miles. Other than that just keep trending your oil analysis and see if the numbers go down. Glad to see a fellow BITOGer on CL.

I don't smoke, drink, barhop... I'm a pretty boring guy in need of a hobby. I know the engine's not gonna die, so I just do the UOAs to be overly analytical... and it's a trend I can follow. My brother shakes his head at my UOAs, but that's okay... BITOG is not for everyone. Like I said, been doing UOAs on and off since 2005 or so.

2 gallons? Did you know that humans are the only animals that continue to drink milk after infancy? I’ve been told that our physiology is not meant to process as much milk as we consume. Not an expert on this but I’ve read studies that both support or reject the benefits of milk consumption.

Not trying to hijack the thread or flame anyone; for those of you running any servicable air filter such as K&N, AFE, etc., I hope you realize that a dirty filter traps more dirt and pollutants than a clean filter. And SOME serviceable air filters promote air flow over filtration. Also, the filter does not have an infinite life. Over cleaning the filter will reduce its lifespan and filtration.

Are you using the K&N filter that requires oiling? If so, my experience with these filters is that they usually result in higher wear metals in UOAs. In addition, you appear to have changed the oil at normal oil change intervals during break in. (10K miles). These two factors are why you have elevated wear metals.
Although alarming, it really does not cause any harm. If the levels concern you, go back to OEM Lexus air filters.
