Added a 2013 GS F Sport RWD to the stable this week
Hey gang - I mostly spend my time over in the GX460 sub-forum, but have been lurking for a '13-15 GS in liquid platinum for a month or two now as a spare vehicle. Finally found one that hadn't been wrecked and/or repainted by a 3rd grader - liquid platinum over cabernet w/ 84k:
As with all of my vehicles, it remained stock for a total of 1 day, HPS intake tube and obligatory K&N, also got WeatherTech floor liners installed:
I do plan to toss it on my brother's dyno whenever I'm up in PA to visit family next, but otherwise no real plans for mods.

Should do a quick check on “bobistheoilguy”. I used to use K & N air filters until I found out how poor they are at filtration. There are a number of reusable filters that are high efficiency. I think AEM is one.
Bye the way, car looks great. Best of luck!!

Congrats! Did you get the Monroney sticker? K&N the dry filter version?
Be sure and check the oil filler gasket, they can harden over time being that close to the valve cover. New model have the long neck.

not sure this was meant for me but I’ll bite. I get the reusable nature of K&N ail filters. It’s about the filtration efficiency. If you have documentation that it filters as well or better than the AEM dry reusable filter or the OEM Toyota filter I would be happy to see it. Used oil analysis tends to show high silicon and high wear metals from engines using these filters.

Some do, some don't. Its just like how 1 maintains the car. I have been using K&N's in cars and Bikes for 20 + years. Went 310k miles on my Sport V8 Lincoln LS with 1 K&N air filter. Never smoked leaked or had any problem, even normal Oil Analysis test. Got to clean, oil and maintain the Filter. If one does not want to no problem. Lots of things Suck when not taken care of as instructed.
I don't think either of us or anyone else here has any real supporting data that would be the end of the story. I maintain my Oil changes with good Oil, factory Oil Filters and K&N Frequent serviced air filters. I don't do long Oil changes as my own preference. Never had 1 problem. Any Filter can be or go bad.
Also my apology's I don't want to jack the Thread of the nice GS posted here. But the K&N was mentioned a few times.

Man, I didn't check the thread for a few days and it devolved into a "what-oil-is-best"-esque **** measuring contest, good times!
In other news, finally got my tractor out of the way so I could put the GS on the lift and change the oil and rear diff fluid:
