Default Rear Floor Pan Photo - Repaired or Original?

Is anyone able to take a look at their floor pan where the spare tyre sits?

I have been inspecting my car to see if there is evidence of prior body repairs.

I have noticed these adhesive tape that may seem a bit out of place?

Thanks. Should the small bolts that connect the fenders to the body be covered in paint (the ones under the hood's rubber seals)? The idea is that these bolts go on before the car gets painted, when I look at mine, the bolts doesn't seem to be covered in paint.

There is nothing in your picture that's obvious to be as body repair.

Oh, I am not talking about the boot anymore, the front fenders and the bolts on the top that holds the fender in place. Whether they are painted to the same color as the body at the factory, or just a normal zinc colored bolt. I am not sure for the GS, if the fenders are painted first, then installed, or installed first then painted.

This is how inspections are done, looking at marks on these bolts to see if a panel has been replaced.

I think mine were painted, I'll check later today, lift up the plastic trim.

all good. I rechecked today in better lighting and it’s all painted and coated in the body’s colour. only the screw connecting the headlamp housing is not painted.

Sorry I forgot to check, but it sounds normal. Any particular reason you suspect you car was in a previous accident?

When it got it a year ago, couple of missing plastic clips in the boot's carpet liner, plastic cover trims around the edge of the engine bay and windscreen not snapped back, fuse box was open, all I fixed easily. The drivers seat bolt wasn't fully tighten.

Theses are not normally places you have to touch for service and maintenance. But now I am thinking its probably a combination of poor workmanship from compliance inspection (as its an import from Japan) and some issue that needed repair done in a rush. There was a lot of historical DTC's from various ECU's that looked like someone disconnected the battery while the engine was running, so not sure which DTC were actual faults.

Maybe previous owner did some mods or had aftermarket sub in the trunk and just didn't do a great job putting it back to stock.
