Default AFE Takeda Cold Air Intake Sound Clips

Here’s some sound clips of the Takeda S2 CAI paired with the Borla S Type axleback exhaust. My only complaint about the Borla was that it was still pretty quiet in the inside when I floored it. The Takeda CAI solved this issue. It’s much louder in the inside the cabin when you floor it but of course these sound clips aren’t anywhere near as loud as it is in person. And there’s still no drone of course

After the first clip was taken, I had someone rev it for me while I stood on the outside to hear it for myself and it actually hurt my ears lol. Also, I noticed I’ve been getting better gas mileage with this intake and throttle response is slightly better but don’t expect any real performance gains from this. Just enjoying the sound and a more exciting driving experience

It's quiet on the inside because of the sound deadening inside the car.

Huh? I've had the Borla axleback for 4 months now and haven't had any issues with drone. With the Takeda installed there still isn't any drone, you don't even notice it until hard acceleration

Lol. Idk what he was trying to get at. When people complain about drone, it’s when you’re just cruising. But I haven’t experienced that at all. And of course I would want to hear the nice note under acceleration, that’s what I paid money for!
