2014 Lexus GS350 purchase

The silver looks good - you can probably get it down even more. It has almost 10k miles more than the other one you were looking at so keep in mind the additional wear/tear. One oddball thing I saw on the carfax was that it says the single owner was the owner for just 2yrs and the car has multiple entries for "Vehicle Sold" and is obviously more than 2yrs old.
Maybe it was leased by the original owner and they purchased it - but from the carfax, it looks like it was leased/purchased from Lexus of Kendall, then was sold at auction, ended up at Toyota of Lakewood, then it was sold again two weeks later by Toyota of Lakewood. Maybe look up the history/VIN service history on the Lexus Drivers website to see if helps clue you in.
It may just be a clerical error on the Carfax or it just is actually a two-owner car but the Carfax doesn't reflect that for some reason. Otherwise, similar to the previous one, get suspension/wheels/brakes/tires looked at. I like the white one better, but i'm biased

AJ I also noticed the carfax said it was sold after 2 yrs, but I was thinking it was off lease and the person just purchased it? It seemed to stay at the same dealer for all maintenance after that sale. I'm skeptical of the high mileage ,but if I have it checked out by another lexus dealer I should know a lot about it's reliability. I see why you liked the white one lol. I like it also but the dealer was solid on the high price.

Thanks all you guys for your opinions and suggestions. The dealership won't negotiate off the $20,900 for the GS so I'm done with them! So I found another 2014 GS
Fsport, silver with cabernet seats, 19" wheels 84,000mi asking price $18,400. One owner , clean carfax good maint history, new tires at 56,000 new front breaks at 60,000. It looks clean on a video walkaround from the dealer with a possible smudge on passenger rear panel. I need to see it up close to tell exactly whats going on there. The inside looks immaculate. So here is my dilemma now I'm looking at a GS with 8000 miles more then the previous one but same year and model. The starting price on this one is 2500 less then the other 2014 GS Fsport without negotiations. I'm thinking even if it needs new struts or some other fixes it might be worth it?? If I could get them down to 17,600 it might be a ggod deal. I probably would take this one to a Lexus dealer to have a pre buy inspection. The dealer lets you have the car for three days and still return it. Well guys have at it, give me your yay or nay opinions on this one please
Thanks

$18,400 seems like a fair price for that year/mileage. As others have mentioned just watch out for the leaking struts. OEM replacements can get pricey and aftermarket replacements are limited.
For comparison purposes I'm in CT and recently bought a white '15 F sport awd with 52k for $24,000 at a Lexus dealer in upstate NY. Car came with new OEM pads & rotors along with new Goodyear Eagle Tourings.
