Default Brake light and spongey feeling after brake bleed

So I performed a brake flush on my GS earlier and now the brakes feel weird. The brake light is on and now it's feels like it's not working properly when braking. Does anyone know what the issue can be?

Are you sure you bled them properly and did not allow any air pockets to enter?

I actually had someone pump as I turn to allow old fluid to come out. There were air bubbles coming out.

Do a linear valve reset.

I know at least for the 450h, the rears are brake by wire, and it requires the use of Techstream to bleed the brakes properly if your doing a full flush. Otherwise it won’t bleed properly the traditional way.

The 350’s don’t have brake by wire so should just bleed like any other car.

Bleed your brakes again obviously you guys screwed up somehow and it’s not safe to drive the car like this. Make sure you bleed starting at the rear passenger side. Also only move on to the next caliper when there is no air bubbles in the tube and you get a steady stream.

Update, I restarted from the rear passenger side (farthest point) and I found a lot of bubbles coming out the lines. I repeated the remaining and checked the brakes and it's back to normal with clean fluid.

A bunch of manufacturers require the ABS unit to be bled with a scanner. I assume Toyota/Lexus have a similar procedure through Techstream. Autel scanners have that option if you know someone with one.

I always have the Toyota Dealer do mine. Was told you want to make sure you flush the ABS system fluid too?
