Hey Guys & Gals,

my sunroof has been making some noise again after a year of being trouble free. Please see the pictures there shouldnt be holes in the seal as seen in the pictures correct? I have 15 Gs350.

 

The first thing I would do is put some silicone grease or spray on it, it looks pretty dry. It might possibly get rid of your noise.

 

I need a new seal for my 2013. I remember someone posted a part number and best place to get an oem one.

 

@gs350lex those are not typical - it looks like the rubber is wearing out or something may have gotten lodged/misaligned when your sunroof was opened and when you closed it, the seal was damaged. I'd say to replace it with a new seal since its fairly cheap.

Thanks everyone went ahead and ordered a new seal and will ensure I check for anything lodged in there. This is really weird in all my years owning this car I have never experience a ripped sunroof seal like that.
