I agree with the poster above .. refreshed design with Lux package! lol
Only thing i'm missing is ML audio, triple beam LEDs and F-Sport appearance add-ons which I can always address down the road

Do you know if the GS or any other Lexus sedans were tested on the small overlap crash before they changed the front ends? I looked but couldn't find any data.

I'm currently shopping a 2015 so I'm curious as to how it would fare

Lexus mentioned in their press release for the 2016 facelift that small overlap was improved.

so you can probably assume nothing was done for the 2015 year.

Camry was tested in 2014 and confirmed good small overlap score prior to the 2015 facelift. The year before that small overlap failed.

Help. I just totaled my 15' luxury package. I plan on replacing with another luxury package but what year? The 15 was as tight as a drum, however I heard the 16 and 17 were more plush. Do you think that would still apply to the luxury with the avs? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I have currently found around 6 from Shift up to L Certified.

Thank you
Drew

I have ‘16 with the luxury package and every time I think about making a change, nothing compares to it IMHO.

@Drew615 sorry to hear about your '15 Lux ... It's certainly a challenge finding anyone locally who has a luxury pkg, but its best to test drive another 2015 lux and then a 2016/2017 lux see how much of a difference the suspension and the 2016+ refreshed details makes to you (keep in mind the lux package was discontinued from 2018+ models).

This is a very helpful post regarding suspension/comparison: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...l#post11065905

Best Lux Pkg deals i'm seeing:

Glad you are ok. That's what counts the most. Make sure you get Max Value for your 2015 if its being paid off by Insurance.

I have a 2013 that was Rock solid tight like your 2013. I just recently drove (2) 2017's F Sport and Lux. Make sure you drive them. I would be happy with any year, they all drive great in their own special way even different. I would have a harder time changing because I did not like the 8speed Trans so much. Felt like a CVT to me vs my 6speed. lol!

However my GS is better technology wise than any stock GS because my car has wireless Apple Carplay that works without any issues. This alone makes it future proof technology/navigation wise for a long time.
Hey I have a stock 2014 lexus gs350 f sport. I prefer the 2016+ controls buttons. I noticed you mentioned it was plug and play in your 2013 gs. Do i need anything else besides the control buttons itself? If you can confirm i dont need anything else, I will look for the controls buttons and swap it out. I like the new button style.

Not a fan of how much space the ACC leaves between you and the car in front of you even on the lowest setting. Especially when it comes to a stop. Here is Atlanta, you are asking for someone to just jump in front of you.

Yes ACC would not make it to stop you in Atl traffic, see a gap coming over no warning. You go from 75mph to Zero in a nana sec, then wonder why the heck did we come to a complete emergency stop for no reason on the highway? lol!

I also would not want to set and drive at a car in front of me's pace. Why would I want to?

I think you are correct. I have a GS 350 and it is the smoothest and sportest lexus I've ever had. However I will admit it is my first GS. My previous lexus were all ES. But I believe that was the general consensus from reviewers.
