I don't know why they couldn't just give the driver the ability to adjust the brightness of the accent lights like you can with the instrument lights.

Does nobody know what the interior light kit is I asked about above?

Op, thanks for sharing. Just did this mod over the last 2 days. Am a novice at DIY and this video helped a lot. Took me almost 10 hours to do this mod. Front doors were the hardest.

It turned out great and love the neon blue.

Have left over leds planning to change the footwell lights with these.

Thanks again Op.

Did anyone else cringe every time he yanked on the door panel, fearing he was going to hit the door of the other car?

After seeing what he did to his poor GSF's front passenger side door while jacking it up... hitting the door panel wasn't bothering me.

For the uninitiated, the fun starts at 4:10:

That was hard to watch!

I'm having a 2-post lift installed. Scheduled for a few weeks out. I fear something like this with my GS. My Buicks have full frames and they won't have an issue.

What color did you get? Pics? I plan on doing the same thing, wiring same led to the footwell lights.

I wonder if I can get a RGB light strip and wire it to a central controller like they use in some computer build? It would have to be either bluetooth or a remote control. Running the wires is a turn off but it wouldn't be hard. I'm guessing there would be a 3rd wire to trigger the color signal. Hmmmm. I'm so jealous of my mom's X3 with the interior light package.

The led strip separates from the diffusor in the kit. So you could put any led strip in there, but running wires to all the doors would be a major PITA.

It's a lot of work because you have to run wiring from inside the car to all the doors.

Got the neon blue. Turned out quite similar to the video you posted.

Still working on the footwell lights.

If anyone else is attempting this and do not feel like cutting wires and soldering. I got these from Amazon. Wire connectors and and Led connection kit. Found this while trying to figure out how to wire the foot well. Will use these to tap into the existing foot well led.
