100% don't waste your time trying to solder this, not only is it hard to do, but the contact point on the led strip is very brittle and by the time you install it it breaks off.
I used this connector on Amazon. I ended up trimming it up and wrapping in electrical tape so it fits.
Can’t wait to see this at night. This is by far one of my favorite mods! 450h Hybrid Blue! Big shout out to Rafael (Bullets Garage) for showing me a mod I didn't know I needed! Anybody know his clublexus username so I can tag him?

That looks cool but it would be nice to have one that color changes. Yours is just blue? BTW, you have a hybrid I guess. Is that vent by the door sill related to the hybrids?

Yes mine is just blue. My friend has a bmw with the ability to change colors and blue looks the best. I think the blue light looks nice at night. The ones that change colors involves running wires from the doors into the car to a central controller. It's a lot more work to install. Yes the vent is for the hybrid.
@gsfdream Thanks showing us this mod and the youtube channel!
Pics do not do this justice, looks much better in real life. My instrument cluster(gauges) and start button are also blue You can actually see things better at night inside the car without using the overhead light and the blue is easy on the eyes, so this mod is very practical.
First pic with the car in park, daylight, my windows are tinted 20% and the sunshade up.
Second pic at night with the car in park(looks much better in person)
Last pic at night with the car in drive(it's dims, just like OEM). I wasn't able to capture this well with my cellphone camera, again looks better in person. It's dimmer but more noticeable than this picture. Perfect level of light at night.
