I think the blue compliments the hybrid version well. My Highlander has blue accent lighting on the door and I feel it goes along well with it being a hybrid, though I think the illuminated door strip on the non-hybrid Highlander is blue as well.

No idea, but here is the amazon listing:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07V46FZSZ/
It would be interesting to see how white turns out. It could potentially be too bright when not in drive or in drive.

More than enough it's 16.4ft long, you cut it in sections. Also the original wire connection that comes with it is crap, I would cut that off and use the led connectors I linked to before. Also have a good xacto knife and pocket knife for trimming.

Blue looks good at night and it's easy on the eyes. Plus you get those night club vibes

Good to know. I saw in the Bullet Garage video that he had to break the clip that held on the oem light. Did you also had to do that? I'd like to keep the clips as intact as I can.

I would remove the door wood/aluminum trim and then attempt to remove the connector without breaking it, either way really doesn't matter.

On the front doors I broke those clips before when I changed the door handles to aluminum(2016+). The rears the clip is easily removable. I just wrapped the connector in foam tape so it doesn't rattle.

I'll wait on Thisguy_06 to post up the white leds as I am stuck between the blue and white.

Completed one door panel last night, so not sure if this will help but here's an attempt at the color/brightness comparison of the 'white' against the OEM. Shooting to finish the rest of the doors by tomorrow.
These pics were taken in my completely dark garage and peering through 20% tinted windows with car off / in park.
So far, this might be my 4th favorite mod; after my coilovers/wheels/tint.
New LED in passenger door.
Nice OEM like color.
Overpowers the factory puddle light.

thanks for the pictures... i think the white makes it appear like it's too bright almost like someone left the light on in the car
... blue feels more upscale similar to the german cars...IMO
Still thanks guys for finding another mod

thisguy_06, what does it look like when you put it in drive? It should dim but is it still noticeable? I find the stock lights are so dim that at night in well lit areas it's barely noticeable.
I'd really like to do this but also be able to change colors and brightness.
I asked about this above and nobody responded.
Speaking of lighting, does anyone know what the interior light kit is, which is referenced on the page for illuminated door sills?

This is what I'm going to order. I know 16ft is more than enough. I'm willing to sell whatever I don't use to someone that wants to tackle this project.

Thanks to @peasodos for reaching out to the person who did the RGB setup.

I'm going to bite the bullet and do the RGB with the Bluetooth controller. I think I can tap into one of the led power sources to the controller. The controller should power up all 4 lights. I am hoping the controller has enough power and will also retain the dim feature when put into drive.

That's the plan. lol. I don't mind running wires. It'll give me the chance to clean underneath the door sills. I have been seeing a bunch of sticky stuff oozing out between the sills and the body.
